Do I have to give my name or email to use this?
No. Nothing on this page asks for contact details, and nothing you click is saved or sent anywhere — your answers stay in this browser tab and disappear when you close it. You only share contact information if you decide to reach out on the contact page.
What if none of the six options fit my situation?
Pick "I'm not sure yet" or start the questions — every question has a "Not sure" answer, and the guide still ends on a useful page. If your situation genuinely doesn't fit any of them, call Dave and describe it; that's faster than guessing.
How accurate are the value and payment estimates?
They're rough starting points, not appraisals or promises. The calculators use general area figures and the numbers you type in — they can't see your specific lot, condition, upgrades, or what's actually selling on your street right now. Treat any number as a range to sanity-check with Dave Dempsey, not a price.
Can I change my answers partway through?
Yes. Every question has a Back button, and Start over returns you to the beginning at any point, including from the result screen. Nothing is locked in and nothing is recorded.
Is talking to Dave free?
Yes — an initial conversation about buying, selling, land, or an auction is always free and no-obligation. Call (419) 799-0291 or use the contact form.
What if I'm doing two things at once, like selling and buying?
That's common, and the guide has a path for it. Usually the sale timing drives the purchase, so it's worth starting with a rough value on what you already own — but the two do need to be planned together, which is a good thing to talk through with Dave directly.
Why does the MLS search go to a different website?
Live listing data comes from The Carlin Co., Realty & Auctioneers, the brokerage Dave Dempsey works with, so that search runs on their site rather than this one. It opens in a new tab so you don't lose your place here.
